Description:

This dissertation created a green media literacy curriculum and researched the effectiveness of that curriculum. This dissertation measured if the green media literacy unit increased subjects' knowledge of daily ecological choices, specifically daily choices of food, cleaning products and cosmetics. Data analysis was preformed on each survey item type to determine significant increase in the post versus pre-test phase occurred within the subject pool. Many results were found to be significant and support the effectiveness of a green media literacy curriculum in increasing students green media literacy knowledge.
