Man speaks in English ("this is the first time I've ever spoken into a gramophone"), sings "Once in the window of a ham and beef shop" from The Girls of Gottenburg (1907), and whistles. Then man speaks in Afrikaans. The addressee in both segments may be "Mister Steytler."
