Speech made by Joseph Sawyer (1823-1901) on his seventy-first birthday, followed by congratulatory speeches by his wife Ann Maria and by some of his children (including Joseph Dillaway Sawyer, Arthur Wilkinson Sawyer, and Mary Sawyer Rogers) and grandchildren; then male vocal solo, "Rock of Ages," and mixed chorus of "Praise God, from Whom All Blessings Flow," sung to Old 100th. Transfer made at 49.6 rpm and slowed digitally to current speed.
